Monocasco Electric Bike Concept

Ossa Motorcycles have emerged from a 25 year hiatus with a new team and an unsurpassed passion to return the Spanish brand to the forefront of the motorcycle world. The Monocasco Concept Bike is a tribute to the original OSSA Monocasso that famed Spanish racer Santiago Herrero rode in the ’70s.

Santiago Herrero is synonymous with the shamrock brand and will always be remembered as one of the best riders in history, who tragically, never won the world championship. This bike is an electric version designed by ART-TIC Team, so you can use it pretty much anywhere without worrying about fuel efficiency and harming the environment. Unlike most motorcycles, it was designed with an external frame that provided support rather than an internal skeleton surrounded by a chassis, making it less powerful but lighter than the competition. As far as we can tell, this stylish electric model is a preliminary design concept only, and while it’s clearly built for the cafe rather than the racetrack, it still looks only slightly more comfortable than the Boxx electric moped. Even so, we’d be delighted to see it on the road.
