Olas! House is work of architect Victor Lusquiños. Olas! is a beach house concept that is designed to mimic the waves of the ocean.
The foundation of the building is a connection of flowing lines which resemble overlapping waves and divide the home into three floors. Windowed walls expose the interior rooms that face outward towards a stunning ocean view.
From the back, the smooth white curvature of the structure gives the exterior the appearance of a shell; appropriate for its location on the shore-front. Along with the modern minimalist furniture, the interior features a large Joan Miro Mural on the second story which mirrors and interprets the ocean it faces.
The Spanish artist says, “Respect for existing is the initial premise and new projects emerge from the analysis of the environment.”
